| James Charneski is a goldsmith who views his work as
traditional goldsmithing, although many see his work as contemporary . He is a studio
artist specializing in custom designed jewelry, using gold, silver, and platinum with
opals, diamonds, and colored stones (yours or his). Specializing in wedding bands and
engagement rings. Member of the Southern Highland Craft Guild, and member of Society of
North American Goldsmiths.
Work can be seen locally in Asheville at the Southern Highland Craft Guild folk art
center, Influx gallery, or by appointment at his studio.
