Located North of Greensboro off 220 approximately 20 miles from Martinsville, Virginia, Madison can be reached easily from 220, 29, 311, 158 or 68.
From Virginia, gain 220S through Martinsville. Follow 220S approximately 20 miles to Madison 311, 704 Riedsville exit, turn right from the exit ramp .....
From 40E in Greensboro, take Rt. 68 Airport Exit, travel north until it merges with 220North then go another 5 miles to the Madison 311 Academy Street exit and turn right off the exit.....
From 40W, take 158 to Stokesdale, then turn North on 220 and follow the above directions into Madison....
..... Once you reach the exit and turn right, Travel West on Academy ie 311 West approximately 3 miles to Lindsay Bridge Road. Turn Left on Lindsay Bridge (and turn right from 311 if travelling 311 east) for 1 mile, past Pine Hall Brick and over the railroad tracks and Dan River, up the hill to the first left, Rierson Road. Turn Left on Rierson Road and take the first driveway on the right- The Oaks farm is 188 Rierson Road at the big tan house 1.5 miles from town. Everyone knows this historical house as the "Old Lindsay/Shelton Property".
