Brenda Brinkley Pottery Studio
Nestled in the mountains of North Carolina, near Hickory, there is a studio where two friends create the pieces shown here. My home and studio are set among trees filled with a dozen different types of birds - nesting in the trees and feeding at our windows. Inside the studio, Pat and I work, laugh and enrich each other's lives. My daughter Mary is the resident studio photographer and long time assistant. Three himilayan cats, Priscilla, Bear and Zoe provide us with continual amusement and artistic inspiration. Our work environment is relaxed and designed to meet our individual needs and that of our respective familes' needs. I gather wildflowers - Queen Anne's Lace, dogwood and honeysuckle from the mountain meadows and shells from along the coastal areas to create embossings on our quotation wall plaques, Christmas ornaments, warming stones, bird feeders, wind chimes, and tiles. Each piece is individually hand crafted of stoneware clay fired to 2100 degrees in a kiln and is safe for traveling with you or being shipped. We hope you will enjoy our work as much as we have enjoyed creating it for you. Brenda Brinkley Brenda Brinkley Pottery Studio
