At DC Enterprises, I work with clients to develope a design which best brings their ideas to life. "A picture's worth a thousand words" is an axiom which applies to effective signs. With this in mind, I employ numerous techniques in the production of wooden signs: bas-relief carving, sandblasting, sculting, chisel-cut, laminate protrusion, routing, and profile shaping. The wood selected is grade "A",clear,kiln-dried,vertical-grain lumber from renewable sources resistant to rot - mostly Western Red Cedar. Gold is 23 carat Italian patent gold leaf. All signs are triple sealed with oil, oil-based stains, or oil enamel paints.
