At Flamingo Silk I create luxurious silk wearable art and decorative art: scarves, sarongs, shawls, harem pants, wall hangings and pillows, Each piece is hand painted using high quality silk and non-toxic dyes.
In the natural world I find the elements necessary to inspire the body, mind and spirit: the tranquility of a pool of water, the cleansing rush of an autumn breeze, the renewing promise of buds in spring. These elements are reflected in my work and become part of each piece. You'll find autumn leaves scattered across a scarf, butterflies among roses blooming on a pillow, zebras eating water lilies in a pond on a wall hanging.
