Appalachian heritage. She is deeply committed to her theme of capturing the legends and
lore of the Appalachians in her paintings as true reflections of the land and its
inhabitants. Her focus for the future is to further explore the various cultural aspects
of Appalachian heritage through her paintings to show the deep seated roots of the people
to their land, folklore, handicrafts, music and dance.
