Juliet Jackson resumed her passion for painting after retiring as a school psychologist and moving to "God's Country", Tryon, North Carolina. There she, her husband and five Rottweilers found an inviting and stimulating natural environment for creative work. "Life long animal lovers seem to congregate in this beautiful place in the foothills of the Western Carolina mountains. If you love horses, dogs and flowers, Tryon is the place to be and to paint". Juli's work is realistic and warm. Her love for animals is evident. She works on canvas in a miniature, small and medium scale. Always up for a challenge, she creates realistic images on rocks collected from the rivers and streams of the mountains. Her work is collected by a wide range of animal lovers and those who appreciate unusual, one-of-a-kind works of art. |
