For The Love of Quilts
I custom design quilts, wallhangings, and pillows using your photos and treasures. I also provide quality, hand quilting services to those of you who make your own quilt tops but prefer someone else to do the quilting for you. I average 8 stitches per inch. Hand quilting provides you with an heirloom quilt that will last for generations. Pricing for memory quilts is based on size, number of photos, materials and the amount of time required. Every quilt will be unique and different, therefore the price of every quilt will be different. I provide a free, no obligation consultation. You final price will be lower if: 1) You can provide a photo CD of JPEG or TIFF photos. 2)Have your quilt machine quilted or hand-tied rather than hand quilted. 3)Choose from a template design. Your final price will be higher if: 1)Original photos are very old, cracked, stained or damaged. 2)You require additional photo editing, collage composites, etc. 3)If you choose a custom design. 4)If you choose hand quilting or hand embellishments. Customers are provided opportunities for design approval, fabric selection, and photo compositions and layout. Pricing for hand quilting services is as follows: Miniatures $100-$150; Wall Hangings/Crib Quilts $150-$175; Full-Size Bed Quilts $350-$550. Batting and backing fabric are extra unless you provide. Please allow 8-10 weeks for completion. An additional 4-6 weeks will be needed for hand quilting. A 50% deposit for orders over $100 is required at the time the order is placed with the balance due before delivery. Orders under $100 are required to be paid in full at the time the order is placed.
