Plant Tissue Culture is a laboratory process whereby a single plant can be replicated into hundreds of individual plants in a very short time. For example, it would be quite easy to produce 300 individual plants from one single plant in only one year. Our primary focus is to replicate new hybrids for hybridizers and growers, but we will also replicate your special plant. Our focus plant is Hosta, a beautiful, often variegated, shade loving, herbaceous perennial, which is fast becomming the top selling perennial plant in America. We serve both large and small growers, including home gardeners. We also provide an intensive training course in plant tissue culture using Hostas as the focus plant. Our training includes all procedures, protocols, and equipment sources needed for the operation of a successful Tissue Culture Laboratory. |
