Experience the magic... ?of this historic and unique Victorian farmhouse Bed and Breakfast. Built mostly in 1888-1898 by Sam Byrd and 4 carpenters who also worked on the Biltmore Estate with clear virgin american chestnut, amazing blistered poplar (a very rare find, so we're told), cherry and walnut that was cut & milled on the property, with six fireplaces; the splendor of the wood and craftsmanship will astonish you. Get away from it all, and share our peaceful home. Sit by our large 2 sided fireplace and play a game of chess, or sit on our wrap-around porch and take in our peaceful surroundings with bird feeders and lovely views. Our 4 guest rooms all have private baths and queen size pillow topped beds. Enjoy a soak in our hot tub; then perhaps a wonderfully relaxing massage!
