Silverbec Photography
Silverbec Photography grew out of my appreciation of the beauty that surrounds us. Most of my photos were taken in Western North Carolina, where I live and spend 99% of my time. Although there are many photographers offering images of the Blue Ridge Parkway and the areas surrounding Asheville in particular, I have chosen to present to you the photos which are not "main stream" for the area. Deciduous Dancer
Watching the wind sway through the trees on a spectacular autumn day on the Blue Ridge Parkway, it struck me that this tree in particular resembled a folk or Spanish-inspired dancer of some kind, the arrangement of limbs and the striking golden leaves swaying in the wind looking like layers and tiers of fabric of skirts and scarves, twirling and floating around a dancer completely lost in the music and the moment.
