Simbach Design Studio
Housed in a tiny half garage on Main Street in Historic Marshall is the brick and mortar studio of artist/designer Lois Simbach. With a background in textiles, fashion, and costume; Simbach has designed for theater, advertising, TV, and film. I now create my own lines of Fashion, Home Decor Pillows and Kitchen Art, Greeting Cards, Paintings and Illustrations, and Spirit Art Dolls. I handpaint and handsew everything!!!

Pearl Buck
This is an original acrylic portrait painting on Pine Board of the American Author Pearl Buck, who wrote of her life and travels to China and won a Nobel Prize.It is 11" by 9""with a wire on the back for hanging. This painting was part of an exhibit in 2000 of Portraits of Women Authors by Lois Simbach, held at Malaprops Book Store in Asheville.
