The Blue Ridge Web Market is
sponsored by a grant from the Appalachian Regional Commission and the Governor's Connect
NC program. Matching funds and support are provided by Advantage West, Land of Sky
Regional Council, Madison County, HandMade in America, and the Mountain Microenterprise
Fund.
The web market is hosted and operated by the Mountain Area Information
Network (MAIN), the nonprofit community network serving 12 counties in western North
Carolina. The Blue Ridge Web Market is a pilot economic development project for the
counties of Madison, Buncombe, Henderson and Transylvania.
